A new hope

No this is another Star Wars tribute.It's the profound awareness of the global consciousness that something big is happening.These are times of change.
Is it the Mayan prophecy about 2012?Is this the end of the world?Without a doubt this is the end of the world as we know it.Will we all face the ultimate destruction of a great flood or a devastating asteroid impact?I sincerely doubt it.These are times of change for us,as individuals, as a society.
We see everyday,all around us that the basic social structure everywhere in the world is failing e gradually collapsing.At least the most advanced civilizations today face a tremendous economic crisis,a frightening social,cultural and spiritual diet which trembles the whole foundation on which our global culture today stands on.
We are perfectly sure that we are it.Through the ages we grew up,we became better.We have computers and global communication,we have arms of mass destruction,we have technology.But are we better?Is technology the only argument that can make us better?
Go back to the forefathers of the United States.They had a better moral sense than us.They spoke and understood a richer and more complex English language.There was honor and values,God  and spiritual commitment.Go back to the ancient Greeks.There was philosophy ad poetry,principles of harmony and respect for man and nature that dominated every single aspect of every day life.
Are we more advanced than these people? Technologically maybe but spiritually, culturally, politically and socially we are not.We grew weak at a point that an ancient language is so complex for us that we cannot understand it. We did not add,with time to our lingual capacity to express but at the opposite we lost and lost so many elements that today we use words,because we are taught to do it ,the meaning of which we sincerely ignore.What is going on?
And if every generation is dumber and dumber were will all this end?2012?
We today,have a choice.Do not consume yourself in consuming.The only thing that you will need in this life is the awareness that everything changes and everything eventually fades away.Everything is temporary and nothing eventually will be yours.There are more urgent matters do address than being only worried about consumption.I must have nothing in life?You must have only the absolutely necessary.
This is the time for change.Think,go out,talk with people,widen your horizons, abandon your prejudices and arrogance, strengthen your faith in you,learn,understand,help,listen,act,forgive,love,contribute, be alive.Your mind is capable of so many wonderful things,a marvelous miracle of nature that can give you so much.So pity to waste all this potential on the stupidest things in life.
So let's all hope that a new world will emerge of this crisis.A world in which the only debate will be not military or economical but that of our flourishing bright cultures.The only one who can make a diffidence it's you.
