A European Destiny

Is the shinny glamour of the powerful economic union fading away?Is Europe transforming itself into a giant that's eating his own children?
It is mind blowing if you think for just a minute that all this prosperity,cooperation and peace that this continent is living is actually extremely young.For centuries Europe has been a bloodbath of internal and external power fighting to grasp control over the old continent.Europe is so important that this mindless conflict only ended roughly sixty years ago with millions of dead.What happened?
People grew tired of fighting.The answer was not domination but cooperation.People of Europe wanted to work in peace.So after another heart breaking black period in the European history we decided to change.Or did we not?
We formed a pack of mutual economic collaboration.We said let's all work together,help each other become stronger and joy the wonderful air of prosperity and peace,because we all wanted to.
But the picking and fighting and genetic hunger for domination and conquest never ended.The bad wolf only dressed himself in a different way.So who's fault is it?
We European citizens are to blame for.We do not need politicians who govern us ,guided from underground conspiracies nor political cost.We need to have in power only the best of our citizens. Technocrats if you like to call them but nevertheless people who know how to do their job.I am insulted with only the idea to pay,from my tax money an individual,to be the head of a ministry not because his is the best of the them all the the most qualified but because hi is a front man of various powers able to lie in your face and hide the truth.We need people who honestly will work for the best of their contries and for Europe.
So it's our fault that we allow certain individuals come to power.Take Germany and France for example.They had a strong political government which worked for their own country but not for the common good of Europe.Because you cannot enjoy the benefits of a strong currency such as the Euro standing all alone.Let me give you an example.
Did the governments of Germany and France knew about the recent economic crisis?Of course they did.Did the European councils had foreseen this dark period?The answer is yes
So what did they do?They sold for example expensive military equipment to a country such as Greece,which could not afford it.They knew that Greece could not afford to buy these weapons,so they encouraged the Greek politicians to borrow money and buy them anyway knowing that eventually this will wear of the economy.
So let's see the big picture.Why Greece needs to spend all of this money, roughly one third of it's income to buy jets,tanks and submarines.Because this country is at the very edge of Europe in a crossroad between Europe,Asia and Africa.Is Greece a chauvinist expanding country?Of course not.All equipment is used only as defense,not only for Greece itself but for Europe.Greece is facing at least five to ten incidents per day of violation of the Greek FIR air space and water borders.This country is constantly under the fear of invasion from their much grander and stronger Muslim country Turkey. It was in 1974 that the Turks without a warning declared war and occupied Cyprus when Greece found itself in a weak political and military position.The same thing happened again in 1995 with the occupation of the Greek island of Imia and the the state's sovereignty is challenged every day. Obviously Greece not only did not encoured military conflict but every time rushed to resolve the matter in the international courts reminding it's own rights deducted from their international treaties.

Cyprus in this day remains the only European country still under occupation.What was and still is then Achilles's Heel of Europe?Europe is a monetary and economic Union.Every state then has to oblige to certain economic rules,but the inner politics of every nation is independent.

Politics ruined everything.If we are in an economic Union that means,of course we are at free political will but our economies are linked together.You cannot have Italy,one of the world's greatest economies not only in numbers but most for the quality of the products that are exported and necessary worldwide,become a member of the Union and in ten years time face the danger of economic bankruptcy.Spain which invests huge amounts of money to expand it's economy and become more important also for the Union and face problems and competition from the Union itself.

The politicians need to understand that if their is to maintain an economic Union,every single state must rise to be as competitive as the other and work together.

Can Greece be as competitive as Germany?With the will of the European countries it could be possible.If all that money invested in armory was channeled in the expansion of the economy then there would not be crisis in the first place.If the European partners were not concerned in profiting from the weakest,only form their selves and see the bigger image of a profiting Europe that is not stealing from one another, then things would have been different.Greece has enormous amounts of gas and petrol deposits,one of Europe's biggest amounts of gold and Uranium which cannot extract because that would be a casus belli for the Turks.Greece has every right but is not allowed to use it's resources.What is the answer of Europe in that?They prefer to look in the other way. Nevertheless with their partners in crisis Spain and Italy Europe's enjoy the grandest solar exposure in Europe,a basis for the construction of a clean power industry that could power the whole of Europe .That and only that could have been sufficient to avoid the crisis.

European politics should have seen the possibility for exploit not for Greece but for the European Union and set the basis at least to protect their assets.It is irrelevant to remind you that in Libia such a decision was taken almost overnight even if it meant to overthrown the very government of the country only to protect the individual  European countries.When we come to decide as a whole,as a Union everything is difficult.

We do not need corrupted politicians who lie to you.We need qualified professionals in key positions who actually know what to do,who know when to do it without the political cost.This is the very core of Democracy.The actual benefit of the many,of the majority.You cannot have the people of Greece,Italy,Spain and Portugal but soon enough also France,Slovenia and Hungary starving.This is not Democracy,this is not the shinny glamorous future that the politicians promised.This is not the way to make money.

We do not need technical temporary governments in Greece and Italy,we need a technical and bolt European economic strategy to protect our common currency and assets.We need the peace and prosperity Europe has to offer.We must have a massive and tempestive European mobilization in uprising the European economy and protect it from the external attacks.We must end this prolongated madness and for once work together.Remember a crisis is also an opportunity.
